Edinburgh Drinks Festivals and Events
Edinburgh is filled to the brim with wonderful markets showcasing locally made food, beverages, arts, crafts, ceramics, and well anything else you can think of! It's a great opportunity to support local producers and perhaps discover new brand/makers that you've never heard of before.
Below are some upcoming market in March and April that Pickering's Gin will be attending and we would love to see you there.
The Drinkmonger Spirit Festival
On the 15th and 16th of March 2025 you can explore a vibrant line up of drinks from Agave, Brandy, Gin, Liqueurs, Vermouth, Rum, and Whisky. Hosted in Mansfield Traquair you can sample incredible selections, discover how these incredible drinks are made and meet the makers who create them.
They are also hosting cocktail masterclasses where you can try brilliant cocktails and learn how to make them from Lucky Liqueurs, Campari and Doorlys Rum.
It's £35 per ticket and this gets you a branded glass to take home, sample over 150 exceptional drinks, and a £10 voucher to use when you spend £40 or more at the Drinkmonger Festival Shop or their stores.
Melting Pot: Buy Social Fair
The Melting Pot is Scotland's centre for Social Innovation. An inspiring community of people striving to make the world a better place. They are hosting their first Buy Social event in partnership with Enterprise Scotland and Edinburgh Social Enterprise Network.
Hosted at their headquarters on the 29th March 2025, there will be 20 social business stallholders selling ethical gifts, handcrafted products, and foodie delights. They'll also have a cosy tea and coffee area, plus three inspiring talks throughout the day.
They ask for a £5 ticket donation which includes access to all stallholders, a complimentary co-working day at The Melting Pot, hot drinks & treats, and inspiring talks from change makers making a different in the world.
St Giles Makers Market
Support The Makers is an organisation that passionately champions, discovers and exhibits makers, creatives and independents. They run various markets throughout the year showcasing an incredible selection of handmade crafts from local artists, creatives, designers and makers.
The market Pickering's Gin is attending is on the 3rd and 4th of April 2025 in the the most iconic 900 year old St Gile cathedral located on the world famous Royal Mile. Entry is free, so come along and see us and other local makers!
The Biscuit Factory Beverage Festival
The Biscuit Factory Beverage Festival is back for its second addition on the 18th and 19th of April. You can expect exceptional beer, boutique spirits, fine wines and other quality beverages to the heart of Leith, over three three-hour sessions.
Each three hour session costs £20 and your ticket includes access to excellent drink and street food vendors, a BFB branded festival cup and a free drinks on entry.
