Welcome to Summerhall Distillery, home of Pickering’s Gin – the first gin-exclusive distillery to open in Edinburgh in over 150 years. Located in the historic former Veterinary College, we invite groups of all sizes to experience our unique setting.

Pickering's Gin is crafted in what were once the dog kennels, now transformed by our hands into a state-of-the-art distillery. In addition to our award-winning gin, we also have a deep passion for whisky. We launched our very own whisky brand - The Broody Hen - a few years ago with a selection of blended scotch and blended malts illustrating the diversity of flavours.

We are excited to offer a memorable experience to your guests, with tastings and storytelling to match their travel or event requirements.

We have options and packages for FIT, GIT, and MICE. We work with the best locally produced food for our pairings, to make sure your clients get the best of Scotland when they visit us.
