January Hours
Our visitor centre is currently closed while our tours team take a well-deserved break. We will reopen on Saturday, 31st January 2026.
Our Distillery Shop is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm, so you can still purchase our delicious gins!
Tours & Experiences
Our award-winning gin and whisky tours run from Wednesday to Sunday. So, come along to our hand-built distillery and see how we make Pickering's Gin.
Looking for a gift for a gin enthusiast? We have a selection of gift vouchers available for our experiences. Please note we only use e-vouchers.
Distillery Shop
You can find our entire range of Pickering's Gin (including some distillery shop exclusives!), The Broody Hen Scotch Whisky and our exclusive partnership bottles such as Cunard 4 Queens Gin and Britannia Gin.
Did you know that you can now refill any Pickering's Gin, Navy Strength, Original 1947, and Scottish Botanicals Gin empties from our refill tank in our distillery. You'll receive 15% off every refill purchase and on your 5th refill you'll get one free ticket to our Cocktail Masterclass.

Where to find us
Our distillery is located within Summerhall Arts venue, (formerly the Dick Vet School of the University of Edinburgh), in Central Edinburgh on the corner of the Meadows.
We are a 25 minute walk, 19 minute bus or a 8 minute drive from Edinburgh Waverley station.
If you're booked onto one of our experiences, your tour guide will collect you inside at The Royal Dick Pub or in the Reception Hall. There will be a sign at reception to direct you to the appropriate meeting area. Please ask at reception if you are unsure where to go.
Our tour teams hours are Thursday - Sunday: 11am - 6pm.

Our Pickering's Gin Jolly and Pickering's Gin Speakeasy Experiences are accessible. Our other tours have stairs with no lift accessibility.
Due to health and safety regulations pets are not allowed in the production area or distillery shop. Guide dogs are allowed in the distillery shop only.
Children over the age of 12 are welcome on our Pickering's Gin Jolly Tour with a non-drinker ticket.
