Limited Edition Pickering's Sloe Gin

The demand for our Pickering's Sloe Gin this Christmas has been extremely unexpected that we sold out this week, with 2 weeks to go till Christmas! Which, is why we are releasing a limited edition of our Sloe Gin.

Back to our Roots

We went back to our roots and have brought back our original Sloe Gin recipe. This recipe is has a slightly more almond taste, but is still as versatile as our newer recipe. And for our wax top lovers this is adorned with a purple wax top!

The Perfect Pickering's Sloe Gin Serve

Drink it Neat or with Ice

Drink it neat! Our Sloe Gin was intended for drinking neat or with a block of ice. Although at 29% ABV, Sloe Gins are listed as liqueurs due to the sugar content, which means you can drink it straight from the glass. We like to imagine you're on a cold winters walk, with a hip flask of Sloe Gin in hand, keeping you warm while you walk through nature. 

Mix it!

If you're looking for a mixer we recommend pairing with Ginger Ale for a warming, festive drink with notes of marzipan. Alternatively if you're looking for an extra kick, you can add Sloe Gin to a class of fizz, giving it a twist on a classic Kir Royale

Cocktails

Speaking of cocktails. Our Sloe Gin works beautifully in a Negroni. All you need is 25ml of Sloe Gin, 25ml of Campari, 25ml of Vermouth. Mix in a shaker full of ice until the shaker is cold to touch, and strain into a glass with a big ice cube. This delicious cocktail will keep you warm all night long.

Sloe Mulled Wine

This is a recent discovery of ours. At the Summerhall Christmas Market we wanted to showcase how versatile our Sloe Gin is, and Michaela decided to make mulled wine and add Sloe Gin into it. It was a massive hit! With some even proclaiming it was the best mulled wine they've ever had. 

This is our recipe:
Serves 1 glass
- 200ml Mulled Wine
- 20ml Pickering's Sloe Gin
- 25ml Orange Juice

Add the following spices to your taste:
- Orange slice
- Star Anise
- Cinnamon Stick
- Cloves
