Pickering's Gin Baubles Return
Our Pickering's Gin Baubles are coming back, but not in their usual form. Every year we're asked when our Baubles will be back in stock, and sadly, this year they aren't returning. But, we wanted to give the people what they want, so decided to switch up our bauble offering. So, we've created seven Christmas Cocktail Bauble Workshops throughout December where you can fill your own Baubles. In this festive workshop you'll craft two delicious cocktails, then choose which cocktail you'd like to make at home, and fill 3 Pickering's Gin Baubles with your cocktail ingredients (makes two cocktails).
When did Pickering's Gin Baubles start?
2014 was the inaugural launch of Pickering's Gin Baubles, which were the first of its kind. The set was originally a bit of fun and we sold them through a local Christmas fair and were an instant hit. So, every year up until 2022 they were released just in time for Christmas. In 2016 they sold out in a recording breaking 82 seconds and this was the beginning of a Frenzy we could've never anticipated.
The baubles were in over 200 retailers across the country from local independent stores to bigger chains like John Lewis, Selfridges, and Sainsbury's. We even made our debut in America and launched our 'Grab Christmas by the Baubles' campaign, inviting customers to tell us how they would 'Grab Christmas by the Baubles, which resulted in another boom for our baubles.
As per traditional Pickering's Gin fashion we wanted to release unique Christmas flavours including; Christmas Clementine, Festive Cranberry, Spiced Pear & Cinnamon, Figgy Pudding, Plum & Ginger, and Brussels Sprout. We even went on to release these festive flavours into individual 20cl bottles, you can still purchase our Brussels Sprout gin this Christmas.
