We visited Summerhall's 'Speakeasy' with Marina (aka Coco Chanel) as our guide and it was fantastic! Really impressed with the room and 'Ginny', as well as Marina's excellent and interesting knowledge of the 1920's prohibition. Drinks were delicious, would definitely recommend to people visiting Edinburgh who like something a bit different.

"The tiny space is incredibly well done in terms of décor and atmosphere. You really feel that you have gone back in time when you step into this space. Beware of the cocktails – they are tasty but pack quite the punch. This is wonderfully entertaining and a great way to experience a non-traditional Fringe event."

"There were two gin based drinks, Al Capone’s favourite drink, The Southside Fizz, and The Monkey Gland named after the drink created in the famous Harry’s New York Bar in Paris. Both beverages were served in gorgeous crystal antique-style stemmed glasses, had bright, stunning colour and strong, tantalizing taste."
