It's about time we created a Pickering's gin chocolate Bar, don't you think?
At Pickering's Gin, we celebrate distinctive Scottish gin flavours. We teamed up with Quirky Chocolate, an Edinburgh chocolatier. They created a bar inspired by Pickering's Gin botanicals.
The result? A delicious collaboration between two Edinburgh born companies, bringing together premium Scottish gin and artisan chocolate in one irresistible bar.
Crafting the Perfect Pickering's Gin Chocolate
Creating this chocolate took time and tweaks. There were many chocolate tastings. It's a hard life, we know!
We worked with Quirky Chocolate's expert chocolatiers. We explored many recipes. Rich dark chocolate was chosen as the perfect base. It showcases Pickering's Gin's signature botanicals.
The first tasting round had four bars. There were two milk and two dark chocolate bars. One focused on Clove, the other on Fennel. From this, we deciphered botanical interaction with chocolate flavor.
The final recipe captures our gin's spirit. It is also enjoyable on its own.
What Does the Pickering's Gin Chocolate Bar Taste Like?
Expect rich, velvety dark chocolate. It has bright zesty lemon and lime bursts. There are warming hints of clove and fennel. You'll also find that unmistakable juniper pop. Pickering's Gin is known for this flavour.
Every bite reflects our original Pickering's Gin. It is a unique chocolate experience. This experience is both familiar and new.

We are two independent Edinburgh businesses. Working together on this project was a real pleasure. Quirky Chocolate's craftsmanship met our passion. We produce exceptional Scottish gin. This resulted in something we are incredibly proud to share.
