Pickering's Gin is based on an old Bombay recipe, handwritten on a fragment of paper dated 17 July 1947. Kept as a family secret for over 66 years, it only resurfaced in 2013 when we began distilling at Summerhall, right in the heart of Edinburgh.
By the time we launched in 2014, we had fine-tuned the recipe, perfecting its balance of botanicals and tweaking it to the contemporary palate. The result is a spectacularly smooth, refreshing and flavoursome gin.

Bought 3 bottles of 1L Gin. Very surprised on how well the bubble wrap packaging survived both transit, Edinburgh to London + the flight home. I dont drink much gin. Only experienced tanqueray, bombay, roku, botanist, and gin mare.... Nothing came close to the smoothness of Pickering's Gin.

A good gin - not overly flavoured with botanicals. Good value.
A great gin with wonderful balance of dryness and botanicals. My absolute favourite
Best G and T and martini ever. Bar none
Excellent Gin , smart looking bottle too . Nice empty with bottle lights in .
Pickering's gin is without a doubt my favourite gin. A wonderful complexity and balance of flavours. I highly recommend.
Love it.
The bottles already empty. Delightful gin and can’t wait to get some more.
Probably the best all-round gin that we buy. Does a great job of cocktails and straight drinks alike.
One of my favourite gins! Goes perfect with a slice of orange or grapefruit.
Already half gone! Will need more stock before the big day
Great service and product as always . Especially in a dry martini on the rocks with Spanish olives
My wife's favourite gin
Having visited the distillery a few years ago, have loved this classic gin ever since. It is truly delicious.
Top notch traditional london dry gin. Beautifully balanced and flavoursome botanicals. Looking forward to my cocktail making master class at Summerhall. ( a gift from my sons for my birthday)

~Happiness comes in a long, tall , cold glass. !! Thank you
Love Edinburgh, love Pickerings, love these bottles so had to buy one while we still could. Thanks
Excellent gin and very quick delivery!
Great value for money and fast delivery
This is a wonderful, refreshing gin which really goes well as an aperitif with an unflavoured tonic, tons of ice and a slice of fresh lemon. You don't need an excuse to sip or gently gulp this gin, it is a wonderfully straightforward, honest and lovely example of the gin genre. Buy, buy, buy!
Pickering's gin is my favourite gin. It's distilled in my home city and I've toured the Summerhall stills and enjoyed the informative commentary and samples provided. Go for the 1L bottle whilst they last. Highly recommended.
Lovely gin with a great name. Often seen it in Edinburgh now in my home. Thank you.
A favourite of ours
